The Mediterranean University of Albania will provide assistance and support to academic staff and students affected by the earthquake on 26 November. The working group set up immediately after the event, and throughout all these days, they have gathered information on the academic staff whose houses have been damaged as well as all students and their families. There are more than 5 professors whose apartments were seriously damaged and dozens of students who were also affected by the devastating earthquake. In full solidarity with them, by the end of this week the collection of information will be completed by deciding on the concrete help that will be provided for each of them. The leaders of MUA in today's meeting announced that the faculties of MUA, especially that of Psychosocial Sciences, make available their staff to come to the aid not only to our students, but also of other families affected by the earthquake. During these days, most of our students have been contacted, because the complete information has not been received about over 3000 students who are today part of MUA and its 150 professors.
