Career Counseling

The mission of the Student and Career Counseling Office at UMSH is to guide and support students during their university education process, as well as to orient and advise them regarding labor market demands and choice opportunities.

The goals that the Student and Career Counseling Office aims to achieve are:

To organize and manage student counseling related to the academic process;
To provide counseling and guidance regarding the orientation and development of students' professional careers;
To support the Student Council, which is an independent body at UMSH that represents and protects the interests of students;
To support the basic units throughout the process of educational and professional internships.

The basic principles of the Student and Career Counseling Office are:

Supporting students in the process of growth and self-awareness, as well as creating opportunities to utilize their knowledge for the benefit of their future development;
Encouraging students to expand their horizons to become active citizens;
Supporting students to enhance their decision-making and problem-solving skills;
Providing the necessary assistance for students to understand the labor market, opportunities, risks, and challenges.
