MUA – The Mediterranean University of Albania has in its primary attention, the quality assurance; therefore, it operates for its growth in cooperation with the IQAUCD - Internal Quality Assurance Unit and Curriculum Development.

The Mediterranean University of Albania carries out the evaluation of the study programs in all the cycles and forms offered by this university. With the evaluation of the study programs, through clear procedures is done the evaluation of the quality of teaching activity and of the scientific research. The main purpose is to evaluate whether the study program meets the state quality standards and the guidelines of the Quality Assurance in the European Area of Higher Education.

Internal Quality Assurance Unit and Curriculum Development (IQAUCD)

Description: The Internal Quality Assurance Unit and Curriculum Development (IQAUCD) is a unit set up at the university level. The composition and the functioning of this unit have been approved by the Rector. The way of functioning of the IQAUCD is regulated by a special regulation. This unit consists of the head of the office, other members of this office who have been selected by the lecturers’ gamut of each department, representatives from the administration, as well as a representative from the Student Council.

Work Methodology of this unit: Based on the Regulation of the Internal Quality Assurance Unit and Curriculum Development, its Manual, the Law on Higher Education in the Republic of Albania, the Statute of the Mediterranean University of Albania, the Regulation of MUA, and all ASCAL documents.
