Member of EMUNI

The Mediterranean University of Albania has been a member of the Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI) since November 2009, one of the main universities in the Mediterranean region. The establishment of this University represents one of the six priorities set in the "Joint Declaration of the Paris Summit on the Mediterranean" (Initiative of French President Nicolas Sarkozy) signed in Paris on 13 July 2008.

This University was established by institutions of higher education and research of the Mediterranean region.

Some of these institutions are:

"Mediterranean University of Albania" is the only Albanian academic institution member of EMUNI, the most important institution of higher education in the Euro-Mediterranean region.

The cooperation of the Mediterranean University of Albania, and EMUNI focuses mainly on joint study programs of different levels, in the organization of scientific conferences and in the exchange of students and academic staff.

Through the cooperation of the two institutions, the students of the Mediterranean University of Albania will benefit from participating in various study programs organized in Slovenia, where the EMUNI center is located, but also in other countries of the Euro-Mediterranean region where other partner Universities are located. Also the best writings and studies of the master level students of the Mediterranean University of Albania will have the opportunity to be published in the International Journal of Euro-Mediterranean Studies which is also the scientific journal of EMUNI.

FACULTIES

Faculty of Economic Sciences

The Faculty of Economic Sciences prepares young economists with fundamental theoretical concepts in economics, finance, accounting, business, law, as well as the essential practical skills required for economists, managers, financiers, bankers, accountants.

Faculty of Law and Human Sciences

The Faculty of Law and Human Sciences prepares individuals for careers as lawyers, political scientists, diplomats, and communication specialists. It provides them with the necessary theoretical foundation and practical knowledge to effectively navigate the challenges of the justice system and international relations within the country.

Faculty of Informatics

The Faculty of Informatics, both physically and virtually, is dedicated to the latest advancements in computer science, systems, and development technologies. In an era of rapid technological progress, the academic curriculum keeps pace with the support of highly qualified faculty members. Teachers and students collaborate on joint projects, pooling their efforts to achieve outstanding results.

Faculty of Medical Sciences

The Faculty of Medical Sciences is an ambitious endeavor of MUA aimed at enhancing the country's medical capabilities.
