Prof. Dr. Adrian Civici

Edukimi: Adrian Civici, doktor në shkencat ekonomike (ENSA, Montpellier, Francë, 2002) dhe doktor në Ekonomi Agrare (Universiteti Bujqësor i Tiranës, 1993). Në 1995 merr titullin “Profesor i Asociuar” dhe nga viti 2011, mban titullin “Profesor” në shkencat ekonomike. Gjatë karrierës profesionale ka punuar si: Përgjegjësi Departamentit të Ekonomisë dhe Politikave Agrare (1992-1996), Dekani Fakultetit të Ekonomisë Agrare në UBT (1996-2001); Drejtor Ekzekutiv i Qendrës së Studimeve Rurale dhe Zhvillimit të Qëndrueshëm (1998-2005); Këshilltari Ministrit të Financave (2001-2002); Drejtor i Strategjisë Kombëtare të Zhvillimit Ekonomik e Social të Shqipërisë (2002-2006); Këshilltar për Planin Zhvillimor pranë Qeverisë së Kosovës (2006-2007); Për disa vite, ka mbajtur poste të rëndësishme drejtuese në UET; Anëtari Këshillit Mbikëqyrës të Bankës së Shqipërisë (2005-2014).

Eksperienca: Anëtar i disa organizatave ndërkombëtare dhe universiteteve europiane: anëtar i Bordit Drejtues të EUROMONTA (Organizata Evropiane e zhvillimit të zonave malore); anëtar i Asamblesë Qendrore të RONGEAD (Instituti specializuar për marrëdhëniet tregtare ndërkombëtare, Francë); anëtar i Këshillit shkencor të RAFAC (Rrjeti mesdhetar për zhvillimin të qëndrueshëm); Lektori asociuar në Universitetin e Lyon-it (ISARA), në CIHEAM–IAM Montpellier, Universitetin e Thesalisë, Greqi, Universiteti Valencia, Spanjë, IAM Bari, Itali.

Drejtimet e Kërkimit: Politikat ekonomike për ekonomitë në tranzicion, procesin e transformimit dhe riorganizimit strukturor të ekonomisë shqiptare, teoritë ekonomike dhe modelet e zhvillimit, politikat dhe strategjitë e institucioneve ndërkombëtare, tregjet financiare, politikat monetare dhe bankat.

Publikimet: Autor i shumë librave e artikujve brenda dhe jashtë vendit, etj. Në 2009, Adrian Civicit i akordohet nga Presidenca Franceze dhe Akademia e Shkencave të Francës titulli "Kalorës i palmës së artë akademike”.
