Two new scientific journals were presented at the Mediterranean University of Albania

"Polieta" and "Ekoinfo-Sistem" summarize the scientific works in the fields of economics, informatics, law, political and social sciences, bringing it together with the former journal "Euro-Mediterranean" to the 3rd number of scientific periodicals published by the Mediterranean University of Albania. The President of the Mediterranean University of Albania, Academician Prof. Dr. Anastas Angjeli, during the presentation, stated that these publications are made in accordance with the philosophy of the Mediterranean University of Albania.

"This philosophy is related to the important trinomial that connects quality in teaching by transmitting as much new knowledge as possible to students, basic and applied scientific research and work with projects and interconnection with the business community. Today, we have gathered to launch these journals, which are related to the second component of this trinomial, with the transmission of new scientific knowledge both in the teaching process and for the general public in accordance with the requirements and standards of today's research science in our country", stated Mr. Angjeli. The President of MUA described these journals as a further incentive for the academic staff inside and outside the Mediterranean University for scientific papers and articles. The Rector of the Mediterranean University, Adrian Civici, after thanking the academic staff engaged in the publication of these journals, emphasized that scientific research remains among the main instruments that show the good functioning of a university. "We already have three scientific periodical journals, which reflect the demand and sensitivity of the Mediterranean University, to show the commitment of the lecturers in this direction, but also not to remain within the walls of the University, but further expanding this network, in communication with the general public, but even in the involvement of external researchers", stated Civici.
