Applications for Doctoral Programs at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and the Faculty of Informatics for 2024 are now open

"Mediterranean University of Albania" opens the call for new admissions in the third cycle of "Doctorate" studies in "Economic Sciences" and "Informatics".

The deadline for applications is until January 21, 2024 Every candidate who meets the requirements of Law No. 80/2015 "On Higher Education and Scientific Research in Higher Education Institutions in the Republic of Albania", article 78, and article 79), and the Regulation of Third Cycle Studies of the Mediterranean University of Albania, you can APPLY to admitted to the Third Cycle of studies, if it meets the following criteria:

1. To have completed and possess a diploma of Higher University Studies;

2. To have completed and hold a Master of Science/Master of Arts degree or equivalent;

The degrees obtained according to points (1) and (2) in a Higher Education Institution outside the Republic of Albania must be equivalent by the Ministry responsible for education.

3. To have knowledge of one of the five foreign languages such as English, French, German, Italian, Spanish at the C1 level or the equivalent of this level, certified through recognized international tests, which belong to a period not later than two years from the time of their issuance in accordance with the provisions of Instruction No. 52, dated 03.12.2015, points 1 and 3. Applicants who have obtained a diploma after completing a study program conducted in one of the five languages above, the diploma obtained and unified by the relevant ministry serves as evidence for fulfilling the criterion of language;

4. To have engagements as an internal/external collaborator in a Higher Education Institution, basic or applied research institution, or other forms of engagement in research;

5. To draft a Project Proposal, which must focus on the selected field where the scientific research will be carried out.

The application process starts on 13.12.2023 and ends on 21.01.2024.
