Mediterranean University in a new stage, opens Doctorate programs in Economic Sciences

The Mediterranean University of Albania moves to a new stage by opening the third cycle of "Doctorate" studies in "Economic Sciences". The leaders of this University shared the good news about the new Order approving these programs in a ceremony organized specifically for the finalization of this important objective. With the opening of doctoral programs, the Mediterranean University of Albania now offers the full range of study programs in 3 cycles.

"PhD studies are a very important component at this stage of the development of higher education, as we are dealing with a scientific research which is not formal, but it is a scientific research that should serve the economic development of the country our", said the founder of Academic UMSH, Prof. Doctor, Anastas Angjeli. Appreciating the commitment of all the staff who worked for these programs, he demanded maximum commitment for the implementation of all procedures for the selection of applicants according to the conditions set by the law.

"I am sure that this achievement of the Mediterranean University of Albania will be accompanied by great transparency. With these programs, UMSH will be an open door for all those candidates inside and outside the country who will want to follow these studies", said the founder of UMSH.

Rector of the Mediterranean Academic University, Prof. Dr. Adrian Civici emphasized that the successful crowning of the doctoral program reflects a qualitative change within the University itself. "Getting approval to have a doctoral program means that many elements related especially to scientific research and its use as a driving force in the interests of the country's economy and development is the real contribution that is required from doctoral studies ", said Civici. According to him, in order to achieve this change, the Mediterranean University has carried out a capillary restructuring of the University's structures in order to offer these programs according to the highest standards and quality.

In the capacity of Director of the Doctoral School of the Mediterranean University of Albania, Prof. Dr Paskal Milo, said that adapting to this new phase, the Mediterranean University has great scientific potential, especially in the field of economics and finance.
