One-month online learning, the Mediterranean University of Albania restructures the program of the Faculty of Law

The Dean of the faculty, Prof. Krisafi: We move to the integrated system that includes the Master

For a month now, the Mediterranean University of Albania has been attending online classes with Bachelor and Master students. The usual academic routine has continued normally, adapting to the situation created by the pandemic COVID 19. All units of the University have been coordinated, starting from the Rectorate, the Dean's Office, the departments and the other units to enable the continuation of teaching. Daily reports come from these instances every day on the progress of teaching and in the same way continues the commitment to the research, where conferences and other planned activities, unable to be physically organized have also moved online. Other units directly related to students like the Student Council and Student Clubs have also been highly engaged. "The teaching schedule is the one determined at the beginning of the academic year and the participation of students is monitored by professors", explain the leaders of MUA. This forced transition to online teaching has not been difficult to practice, as for 10 years the Mediterranean University of Albania is part of G-suite education, familiar with the platform through which it is possible to access virtual classrooms in Google classroom and Google meet. "Therefore, the lectures and seminars are fully developed according to the curriculum planned for the second semester, meanwhile the participation of students in seminars, lectures and the commitment of professors is evidenced," said the Dean of the Faculty of Law and International Relations, Prof. Ksenofon Krisafi. He informed that for the new academic year, the Mediterranean University of Albania will have a restructuring of some curricula. "Starting from the new academic year, we will have a transition from the 3 + 2 system to the 5-year system. Thus, the program of the Faculty of Law will be an integrated program of the second 5-year cycle, to include the Bachelor and the Master ", stated prof. Krisafi.

The Mediterranean University of Albania with already 11 years of experience offers the students 29 Bachelor and Master programs, while a new two-year Professional program will be opened for all those high school graduates who do not meet the legal criteria of the average to be admitted to Bachelor program.
