For the first time integrated 5-year program for Law. Here are the innovations for the students.
In the context of improving the programs, curricula and the quality of preparation of students capable of being preferred by the labor market at home and abroad, the Medhetar University of Albania starting this year will offer students a 5-year integrated program, Master in legal.
This program lasts 5 academic years, requires the completion of 300 credits and provides the student with a Master's Degree in Law. It thus gives the opportunity to continue normally in all profiles of the specialty of lawyer, after meeting the specific requirements of each profile the student can compete in:
- The School of Magistrates to become a judge or prosecutor at the end of the School;
- Can apply to attend law school, notary or notary qualification, to obtain a license of lawyer, notary or bailiff;
- Can compete for the position of lawyer in various branches of state administration, including the sector of foreign relations or private business;
- Can compete to engage in teaching, to continue the postgraduate qualification for the third cycle-doctoral program, inside or outside the country;
- Can be engaged and employed in any sector where knowledge of the specialty of lawyer is required.
“The transition to this new program has the advantage that gives the student the opportunity to complete and complete in the same HEI, with the same academic staff, with the same philosophy, goal and objective of professional training, the entire cycle of studies and all the necessary qualifications for engage in the aforementioned profiles. It is important to note that he leaves the university auditorium with a master's degree, which is considered a diploma that concludes the most substantial part of legal studies ", explains the Dean of the Faculty of Law and International Relations, Xenophon Krisafi.
In this way, the UMSH of UMSH adapts better and more naturally to the current political, social, economic and legal developments.
It thus fulfills its strategic objective, of configuring an academic, scientific and organizational physiognomy to face the new realities that Albania will face today and in the future.
