Two well-known professors of MUA, promote the book “Economic crisis in the time of Coronavirus”

"The economic crisis in the time of the Coronavirus." With a title as current as the situation of Pandemic the COVID 19, the book of two well-known professors of the Mediterranean University of Albania, experts in economics, Academician.Prof. Anastas Angjeli and Prof. Adrian Civici.

"Among the dozens of questions that came as a result of the Covid 19, the book contains two important messages, which I think are the most valuable to all of us. Firstly, man stands above the economy and nothing more than the actual crisis can prove it. By placing the person at the center, giving him maximum access to health care we can meet further challenges. Secondly, the need for short-term and long-term strategies for the recovery of the economy after the crisis, are a necessity and require extensive cooperation of all institutions and actors ", stated the founder of the Mediterranean University, one of the authors of the book" Economic Crisis at the time of the coronavirus ". Those present at the ceremony praised this book as an important input with answers to some of the challenges that are facing not only Albania but the whole world caused by the dangerous virus. The Minister of Finance and Economy, Anila Denaj, said that the book comes as a contribution to the measures being taken to alleviate the crisis, which will not be short.

"In fact there is no better time to read this book, which gives a valuable input not only to the institutions for the continuity of all initiatives to cope with the crisis, but to look beyond the situation of overcoming this emergency," said the Minister of Finance and Economy.

The book was also praised by the Governor of the Bank of Albania Genc Sejko, the President of the Academy of Sciences Skëndër Gjinushi, Academician Shaban Sinani and other well-known figures of economics and politics.
