The promotion of the book “Contributions to Albanian Science and Diplomacy”

The Dean of MUA’s Faculty of Law and International Relations Prof. Ksenofon Krisafi presents his newly published book to the reader.

The promotion of a new book written by the Dean of the Faculty of Law and International Relations, Prof. Ksenofon Krisafi, took place on the premises of the Mediterranean University of Albania today. One of the most prestigious personalities in legal, historical and political fields, Prof. Krisafi brings to the reader the publication of his book “Contributions to Albanian Science and Diplomacy,” a book that analyses, evaluates and honours the work of several prominent scholars within the context of current processes and important developments in Albania. Among colleagues and friends, Professor Krisafi’s book received a lot of good reviews. “An exceptional book, a rare style of writing, and an outstanding goal setting. He has followed the path of moving parallel with and bringing in several works so that to discern the scientific activity of great authors and personalities. This remarkable approach of Prof. Ksenofon Krisafi reveals not only his ability but also a meticulous work through a careful study of a series of scientific works,” said the Academician Prof. Dr. Anastas Angjeli during his opening speech. The book was also appraised by the Rector of the Mediterranean University of Albania, Prof. Dr. Adrian Civici. “Professor Ksenofon Krisafi is an outstanding analyst of international relations, political science, philosophy, and of some crucial historical events in Albania. He has expressed his own experience from a very interesting point of view. Distilling information to produce a kind of knowledge of philosophical, historical and diplomatic nature, constitutes the most pivotal values of the book,” said Civici. The well-known historian Prof. Paskal Milo put a great emphasise on the long-standing friendship with the author, and highlighted two main axes permeating the book. “The book has a deep humanistic content. It treats great personalities of jurisprudence and diplomatic history with significant empathy. The humanistic approach prevails in this work, and this is a very important thing. It is an excellent work done in remembrance of all of them, and of their contribution as well. Secondly, it is characterized by eminent professionalism in the field of scientific research where the author remains one of the most professional ones,” said Professor Paskal Milo. Well-known personalities in the field of international relations, such as Fatos Tarifa, also praised the book, and a detailed review was made by the author of the book’s preface, Albert Lenja.
