Representatives of the Greek Embassy in Tirana held an open lecture at MUA

Mediterranean University of Albania is keeping up its tradition for the organization of open lectures by renowned personalities of the academic, politics, and economic fields.

Greek Ambassador to Tirana Ms. Sophia Philipidou and First Secretary of the Greek Embassy for Economic Affairs Charalampos Papadopulos held an open lecture at Mediterranean University of Albania. In his welcoming speech, President of MUA, Academician Prof. Dr. Anastas Angjeli welcomed the Ambassador and highlighted the importance of such events for students and academic staff at the university.

In her lecture, Ms. Philippidou focused on the role embassies play in an ever globalized world regarding the most recent changes due to technological advancement and dynamics of the international system as well as the political system in general.

For his part, Mr. Papadopulos highlighted the importance of the promotion of entrepreneurship among youths and provided some concrete examples from youths in Greece. At the end of the lecture, students made several questions which were answered by the Greek Embassy Representatives.
