Mediterranean University of Albania today signed a collaboration agreement in the continuation of the agreements with the “Union of Albanian Producers", in the framework of academic and professional exchanges between the two institutions.
In the signing ceremony, in the premises of MUA, there were present the Rector of MUA, Prof.Dr. Adrian Civici, Vice Rector of MUA Prof.Assoc.Dr. Greta Angjeli, Administrator Mr. Ilir Hebovija, Dean of the Faculty of Economics Prof. Dr. Sulo Haderi and Director of Master Programs Prof.Assoc.Dr. Orkida Ilollari, while on the part of the association of "Union of Albanian Producers" was present Mr. Arben Shkodra, the Secretary General of the "Union of Albanian Producers".

The Rector of the Mediterranean University of Albania Prof. Dr. Adrian Civici considered this agreement as a crucial one for the exchange of experience between the academic staff and the experts of the union for organizing joint activities or market studies already dictated by the need for new professions.

Through this agreement, the Mediterranean University of Albania will offer further qualifications by adapting the curricula, dictated by the information brought by producers in the country and the region.

During the meeting it was requested by the Director of Master Programs, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Orkida Ilollari that in addition to the implementation of teaching practices, the cooperation with the "Union of Albanian Producers" could support students with data to carry out their scientific research. Mr. Arben Shkodra, expressed his readiness that in the framework of this cooperation, the students of the Mediterranean University of Albania to be welcomed at the association of "Union of Albanian Producers" to conduct professional internships and to have the opportunity to do research for their working diploma theses. This agreement aims to concretize the bilateral relationship in order to maximize the compatibility between graduates and the specialty they have and the requirements of the labor market.

The Mediterranean University of Albania focuses on long-term collaborations with corporations and businesses in the country, bringing students closer to business and helping them to be trained and prepared for the labor market, after completing their studies.
