Memorandum of cooperation between Mediterranean University and the Albanian Stock Exchange ALSE

The Mediterranean University of Albania signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Albanian Securities Exchange ALSE. The meeting was attended by the Rector of the Mediterranean University of Albania Prof.Dr. Adrian Civici, Administrator Mr. Ilir Hebovija, Director of Master Programs, Prof. Assoc Dr. Orchid Llollari, as well as the Executive Director Mr. Artan Gjergji and representatives of the technical staff from the Albanian Securities Exchange ALSE.Within the framework of this agreement, the Mediterranean University of Albania will further develop the possibilities of specializations, consulting, internships, and various projects. The Rector of the Mediterranean University of Albania Prof. Dr. Adrian Civici considered this agreement very important for the exchange of experience between the academic staff and the experts of Albanian Securities Exchange ALSE and the organization of joint studies. The Executive Director Albanian Securities Exchange ALSE, Mr. Artan Gjergji, said that the ALSE will be opened to students of the Mediterranean University of Albania who will perform professional internships and have the opportunity to apply for a diploma thesis. During this meeting, the Director of Master Programs, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Orkida ILollari, requested the development of open lectures by representatives of the Albanian Stock Exchange on topics for the development of financial markets and cooperation between the two parties. Moreover, the library of the Mediterranean University of Albania will be enriched with the publications of the Albanian Stock Exchange, so that students can use them during their research and scientific work. In addition, it was discussed the project of “Virtual Stocks Exchange “in which students of the Mediterranean University of Albania will be part of this competition.
