Mediterranean University of Albania agreement with European Law & Governance School of Athens

The Mediterranean University expands its scope of international partners thanks to a cooperation agreement accomplished with the European Public Law Organization and more specifically with the European Law & Governance School of Athens, one of the most prestigious institutions in Europe in the area of European Law.
The MUA delegation was conducted by the President, Academician Prof. Dr. Anastas Angjeli ; the Rector of MUA, Adrian Civici, Professors Emilio Çika and Kriton Kuçi, as well as the Director of the Foreign Relations Elton Skendaj were part of it.
The delegation was welcomed by the Executive Director of the EPLO Board Spyridon Flogaitis, the General Director of Education Panoraia Spiliopoulou, as well as other directors of this institution.
The Ambassador of Albania in Athens, ESS, Luela Hajdaraga also participated in this meeting.
The meeting was held at the EPLO-ELGO headquarters in Athens; the President of MUA congratulated this cooperation as a new and useful window and more opportunities for students and academic staff.
Professor Angjeli, emphasized the very good relations that exist between the two countries and the cooperation in the field of education, particularly in "European Law and Governance", is an excellent illustration.
Prof. Spyridon Flogaitis praised this cooperation with MUA and emphasized the importance of its practical implementation. 
He said that EPLO-ELGO will offer full scholarships for all MUA students who will spend at least one year in this institution.
Prof. Flogaitis said that the students and the staff of MUA will be invited to the summer schools that will be organized in July in Athens.
He required that work should begin on developing joint programs.European Public Law Organization has its branches throughout Europe and Albania becomes part of this prestigious academic network thanks to the cooperation achieved by MUA. EPLO is an initiative undertaken by the President of Italy Sergio Matarella and some of the most prominent presidents and academics of EU countries. Currently, the President of the Athens headquarters of EPLO-ELGO is the former Italian President Giuliano Amato.
