The Mediterranean University of Albania holds the first student-organized scientific conference. A total of 35 scientific papers were presented by the students of the Faculty of Law and Human Sciences
The scientific conference of students, the first of these dimensions in MUA, was held at the Mediterranean University of Albania. Some 35 students from the Law and Human Sciences Faculty presented their scientific papers on various topics of actuality. The purpose of this conference was to encourage creativity, innovation, and scientific research among the students of MUA. The MUA rector considered this event a cornerstone and expressed his confidence that in the future such activities will become a tradition for the MUA students. "I want to emphasize that, looking at the students' scientific papers, it is clear that the range of topics is as wide as it is current, national problematic as well as international issues regarding important themes in legal, social, political sciences and international relations.
"The engagement of students in addressing these major issues is greatly appreciated, as it avoids formality and encourages practical approaches and solution-oriented thinking," said Rector Civici. The Dean of the Faculty of Law and Human Sciences, Ksenofon Kristafi, expressed special thanks to the students and academic staff involved in the conference. "The scientific works being presented here are the result of the dedication, willpower, and tireless efforts of our students over several months. They have worked with passion and a desire to discover innovative solutions for the challenges that surround us," said Dean Kristafi.
Nevila Rama, MUA Vice Rector, emphasized that this conference is also connected to May 9, Europe Day, and described it as a significant event for the Mediterranean University. Redi Shehu, a representative of the Mediterranean University's ALUMNI and a former student, praised the conference, highlighting how such initiatives strengthen the role of students in higher education institutions. Shehu also expressed appreciation for the academic staff who consistently support MUA students. Mimoza Halimi, a Member of the Labor Board, also congratulated the students on their achievements and stressed that such scientific works add value to the future of the students.
The conference created a positive environment for students to express new ideas, discuss significant challenges facing the world today, and find ways to address them. This remains one of the daily priorities of the Mediterranean University.
