Violence in higher education, MUA welcomes young researchers from 40 countries to the scientific conference

Young researchers from 40 countries gathered for the scientific conference "Making Young Researchers' Voices Heard to Prevent Gender-Based Violence in Higher Education" organized by the Department of Political Sciences at the Mediterranean University of Albania in collaboration with COST ACTION CA20137. The conference aimed to discuss gender-based discrimination and violence in higher education institutions in European Union member countries and those aspiring to join. During the opening of the conference, Dr. Gilda Hoxha, a lecturer at MUA and the main organizer of this conference, emphasized the legitimate role of young researchers in contributing to such activities. The Director of the Doctoral School, Arben Cici, also welcomed the conference. Researchers from Europe and the United States of America presented their studies and manuscripts. The conference aims to promote cultural change and dialogue between young researchers and interested parties, including European and national decision-makers. The conference will continue for one more day.
