The presentation of ‘Ora e Kosovës’ took place in Tirana, hosted by the Mediterranean University of Albania

The Mediterranean University of Albania organized the presentation of the book ‘Ora e Kosovës,’ which focuses on independence and state building, authored by Mrs Fatmir Sejdiu, President of the Republic of Kosovo from 2006 to 2010. President Alfred Moisiu, President Bamir Topi, representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Albania, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Tirana, Skënder Durmishi, President of the Academy of Sciences of Albania, Skënder Gjinushi, members of the academic staff of MUA, and other guests attended the event.

“I remember with emotion the day of Kosovo’s independence, a day I consider fortunate to have been in Pristina. Despite the prohibition outlined in resolution 1244 preventing government representatives and former representatives from attending, my teaching duties in Pristina allowed me this opportunity. I also had the privilege to attend the promotion of the book ‘Ora e Kosovës’ in Pristina, one day prior to the 16th anniversary of Kosovo’s independence. This remarkable book, authored by President Fatmir Sejdiu, is unusual in many aspects, and I extend my gratitude to him for accepting our invitation to promote it here today in Tirana,” remarked the founder of the Mediterranean University of Albania, Academician Prof. Dr. Anastas Angjeli.

Further discussing the book, Prof. Dr. Angjeli emphasized its professional, scientific, and ethical dedication in evaluating significant events, political figures, and intellectual personalities objectively, without subjective biases or political affiliations. President Sejdiu expressed appreciation for the organization and hospitality, highlighting the importance of such meetings in fostering friendship and collaboration.

During the presentation, Presidents Moisiu and Topi, MUA Rector Prof. Dr. Adrian Civici, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Human Sciences Prof. Dr. Ksenofon Krisafi, Prof. Dr. Paskal Milo, and the book’s editor, Mrs Ibrahim Berisha, also delivered speeches.
