The book "Ambassador's Roundtables" is presented at the Mediterranean University of Albania

The book "Ambassador's Roundtables", authored by the former Italian ambassador in Albania, Paolo Foresti, is presented at the Mediterranean University of Albania. In a meeting with lecturers and students, details of the book from the most fragile years of Albanian democracy were shared. The memories of the Italian diplomat, who was ambassador in Albania until the terrible year 1997, are memories that arouse curiosity and interest for all generations. Accompanied in this meeting by his wife, the ambassador himself said that those years were a history to be written. "In particular, the year 97, was a story to be written. I can say that I found a lot of cooperation from the political leaders of that time. I remember that together we worked on weekends and in the evenings in order to reach the solution that created the opportunity for Albania to move forward after the armed conflict", said Foresti.

Known for his role as a mediator between parties and political figures of the time, the ambassador narrates in the book the meetings and conversations held with them.

The autobiographical book "Ambassador's Roundtables" is accompanied by photographs of places and characters, the novelty is also the description of the menu that accompanied these tables.
