The IV Student Scientific Conference “From the Auditorium to the Digital Market” is held

Today, in the premises of the Mediterranean University of Albania, was held the IV Student Scientific Conference with the theme:
From the Auditorium to the Digital Market: Student Strategies for Developing New Skills in the Era of Artificial Intelligence”.
The conference, organized by the Faculty of Law and Human Sciences, gathered at a debate table students from all study programs, as well as participants from other universities in the country, creating an important platform for exchanging ideas and presenting research papers.

The conference opened with the opening session, where greeting speeches were held by:

  • Prof. Dr. Ksenofon Krisafi, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Human Sciences
  • Prof. Dr. Adrian Civici, Rector of the Mediterranean University of Albania
  • Prof. Assoc. Nevila Rama, Vice-Rector
  • Lefterije Lleshi Luzi, Commissioner for Civil Service Oversight

   

 

Prof. Dr. Adrian Civici emphasized in his speech that:
The university must be a space where students not only acquire knowledge, but develop practical and critical skills to face the transformations brought by the economy and the digital market.

Prof. Dr. Ksenofon Krisafi stated that:
In the era of algorithms and technology, the role of legal and humane education remains essential to guarantee ethics, justice, and the protection of fundamental values in society.”

Prof. Assoc. Nevila Rama underlined the importance of the active involvement of students:
Students must be at the center of transformative processes, building skills that make them competitive and prepared for the challenges of an ever-changing market.”

While Mrs. Lefterije Lleshi Luzi emphasized the institutional and professional dimension: “The cooperation between universities, the academic world, and public institutions is key to creating sustainable bridges between university formation and the labor market.”

Following this, the conference took place in interdisciplinary thematic sessions, addressing current developments and challenges related to the impact of artificial intelligence on professions and society.
