Mediterranean University of Albania graduated its 14th generation of students. The ceremony was attended by dozens of distinguished personalities from the academic, political, and business communities.

The President of the Mediterranean University of Albania encouraged the new graduates to contribute to the country’s European future by choosing the Mediterranean University.

“And always looking toward the European future of the country, you know that Albania’s integration into the European Union is closer than ever. With the objective that by 2030 Albania becomes a full member of the EU, we and you together must be part of this process, because with you and your contribution, this goal will become a reality. Naturally, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of this membership, but at the same time, you must become young professionals who work with the same standards as those countries,” Angjeli said in his speech.

Speaking about employment, the founder of the Mediterranean University encouraged young people to pursue their studies at the institution.

“Today, 85% of our 14,000 graduates are employed within six months after graduation, and most of them are satisfied with both their jobs and salaries. This makes us proud because we continue to fulfill our mission of educating a new generation that is professionally capable and ?????????, equipped with the most contemporary knowledge and developments, and ready to undertake responsibilities for their own future and that of our country. Therefore, we have continued expanding our offer, now providing more than 50 bachelor’s and master’s study programs across our four faculties. We have managed to cover the entire spectrum of studies in the fields of Economics, Technology, Law, Humanities, and Health Sciences,” Angjeli emphasized.

Regarding internationalization, the President of UMSH underlined that the university’s degrees are internationally recognized.

“And the good news is that UMSH has now also opened its doors to international students who have chosen it from different countries of the region and the world,” he said.

With a strong appeal for young people not to leave Albania, the ceremony was also addressed by the well-known writer and politician Ben Blushi.

“Do not leave. Do not leave Albania. This is the one obligation your generation has. Stay in Albania and continue learning, because the conditions for studying and working today are better than those of previous generations. This is the only thing we ask of you,” Blushi said in his speech.

The Rector of the Mediterranean University of Albania, Prof. Dr. Ardian Civici, also encouraged students never to stop deepening their knowledge.

“In a world that changes at a rapid pace, the University must serve as a guiding beacon, preparing professionals who do not simply follow economic, social, and scientific developments, but who lead them. The Mediterranean University of Albania has been and continues to be committed to this vision,” Civici stated.
