University of Mediterranean Albania, represented by Professors Nevila Rama and Edit Bregu, is accepted as a full member of UNIADRION during the General Assembly held in Skopje on 20–21 May 2026
During the proceedings of the UNIADRION General Assembly, held in Skopje on 20–21 May 2026, the University of Mediterranean Albania, represented by Professors Nevila Rama and Edit Bregu, was officially admitted as a full member of this important international academic network. UNIADRION represents one of the most consolidated university networks in the Adriatic-Ionian region, bringing together universities and higher education institutions from various countries of Southeastern Europe and the Mediterranean, with a focus on strengthening academic cooperation, scientific research, innovation, and regional development.

The membership of UMSH in UNIADRION represents an important step within the university’s internationalization strategy and the expansion of its international partnerships. This membership creates new opportunities for the development of joint academic and research projects, increased mobility of academic staff and students, as well as strengthened inter-university cooperation at both European and regional levels. Through active participation in this network, UMSH aims to further contribute to international academic integration processes and to the creation of an increasingly open, innovative, and competitive university environment. The institutional presentation of UMSH during the General Assembly was delivered by Vice-Rector Nevila Rama.
