Job Description
Role Overview
The International student coordinator supports the International Relations Office (IRO) in all activities related to international student recruitment, admissions, and student life. This is a hands-on, people-facing role that covers the full student journey - from first contact with prospective students through to their daily experience on campus.
The role works in close collaboration with the IRO team and other internal departments to ensure that international students are supported at every stage of their experience at MUA.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operations of the International Relations Office,
- Assist in the international student admissions process and related administrative tasks,
- Serve as a point of contact for international students, responding to their needs and inquiries,
- Plan and coordinate events and activities for the international student community,
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners on matters related to international students,
- Support recruitment and marketing initiatives in collaboration with the IRO team.
Position Details
- Full-time position (Monday – Friday),
- On-site role based in Tirana,
- In-person presence required - this is not a remote position,
- Part of the International Relations Office team.
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant field (International Relations, Communication, Education, or similar),
- Excellent communication skills in English (required); knowledge of additional languages is a plus,
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously,
- Proactive, people-oriented, and comfortable working with diverse cultural backgrounds,
- Experience in student services, coordination, or a similar role is preferred.
