The Mediterranean University of Albania awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to Mr. Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain - Chairman of the Executive Board of the ‘Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain’ Cultural Foundation

The President of the Mediterranean University of Albania, Academician Prof. Dr. Anastas Angjeli, presented the title ‘Honoris Causa’ to Mr Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain, a decision of the Academic Senate of MUA, for his outstanding contribution to the promotion of the culture of peace in the international community, the construction of common instruments of cooperation through the spread of culture, education and dialogue, for the security of future generations.

The awarding ceremony was held in the presence of the highest representatives of the ‘Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain’ Cultural Foundation, leaders and representatives of the United Nations, the President of Malta, Mr George Vella, the President of Albania, Mr Ilir Meta, the President of Kosovo, Ms Vjosa Osmani, the former President of Croatia, Mr Stepjan Mesic, the Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, Mr Marzouq Ali Mohammed Al-Ghanim, the Rector of the University of Malta, Prof. Alfred J. Vella, invited academics, civil society representatives from different countries, and Maltese and foreign Media.

This ceremony was attended by members of the academic senate, MUA’s vice rectors, Prof. Ass. Dr. Greta Angjeli and Prof. Ass. Dr. Nevila Rama, Dean of the Faculty of Legal Sciences and International Relations, Prof. Dr. Ksenofon Krisafi, Director of Foreign Relations, Mr Elton Skëndaj.
