Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arben Cici, Director of Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Chair for the Just Peace at the Mediterranean University of Albania, participated in the International Seminar "The War in Ukraine: Considerations for Europe".

This workshop was organized at the University of Malta, by Albabtain Chair for Peace, the Center for the Study and Practice of Conflict Resolution together with Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School of Peace and Conflict Resolution of George Mason University in Washington.

The two-day seminar was organized in order to highlight the multi-dimensional problems caused by the war, longer than a year, in Ukraine, and the direct negative consequences for Ukraine and the whole of Europe, on all levels. The participants, experts and qualified researchers in the field of security, peace, conflict resolution and international relations, evaluated and underlined the difficult challenges facing the possible peace policies, those of the possible peacebuilding and conflict resolution and coordinated actions and opportunities for the benefit of peace and security in Europe and beyond.
