Teaching Arabic language and culture at the Mediterranean University of Albania

Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Chair for Arabic Culture and Language at the Mediterranean University of Albania started teaching Arabic language and culture for the academic year 2024-2025.

This Arabic language and culture course at MUA aims to spread the culture, language and Arab history and promote intercultural diversity and mutual understanding between Albania and Arab countries. It will serve as a bridge between students and academic staff in their collaboration and communication with colleagues in Arab countries and the wider culture they represent.

Director of the Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Chair for Arabic Culture and Language, Prof. Asst. Dr. Arben Cici greeted the beginning of the first hour of this course by wishing a lot of success to the Arabic language professor, Fatbardh Shegaj and the first class of this course. Professor Fatbardh Shegaj is one of the best connoisseurs and speakers of the Arabic language; his knowledge, experience and contemporary methodology are guarantees for the successful learning process of the course.

At the end of the course, the participants will be provided with the relevant certificate of acquired knowledge of Arabic language and culture.
