Chairman of the Board of the Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Chair for Arabic Language and Culture at MUA makes inaugural visit to the Arabic language course.

Prof. Dr. Academician Anastas Angjeli, President of the Mediterranean University of Albania and Chairman of the Board of the Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Center for Arabic Language and Culture made an inaugural visit to the Arabic language and culture course at MAU. This course will be held during the 2024-2025 academic year.

Mr. Angjeli greeted the professor of Arabic language Bardhyl Shega and the participants in the course and underlined the importance of learning the Arabic language and culture, focusing on its utility and official use, as well as its considerable spoken space in the world. The purpose of this course, stated Professor Angjeli, is to spread the culture and language of the Arabic language as well as its extraordinary history, in order to promote intercultural diversity between Albania and Arab countries. In the Middle Ages, Arabic was a major tool of culture and learning, especially in science, mathematics and philosophy, added Mr. Angjeli, and it will serve as a bridge today between students and academic staff in their cooperation and communication with their counterparts in Arab countries and with the broad culture they represent.

Professor Angjeli wished the students of the course much success and a good start in learning this special, very rich and important language.

The Chairman of the Board of the Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Center for Arabic Language and Culture at UMSH, Prof. Dr. Academic Anastas Angjeli was accompanied by board members, professors Ilir Hebovija and Elona Shehu, as well as the Director of this Center Prof. Ass. Dr. Arben Cici.
