Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence in Albania and Kosovo

LAIA: The Mediterranean University of Albania proudly introduces the country’s first Master’s Program in Artificial Intelligence, developed within the EU-funded LAIA Project (Learning Artificial Intelligence in Albania). Starting from the upcoming academic year, this pioneering program aims to equip students with advanced AI knowledge and practical skills aligned with European standards. Designed in collaboration with the University of Southern Denmark, the curriculum includes cutting-edge modules such as Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Image Recognition, and Robotics. Students will benefit from international internships and close partnerships with industry and the public sector, gaining hands-on experience to succeed in the global AI market. This program prepares graduates to apply AI technologies across diverse sectors including healthcare, business, and economics. By combining academic rigor with real-world relevance, LAIA shapes the next generation of AI professionals in Albania and the Western Balkans. It’s not just a degree—it’s a gateway to a future powered by innovation.
