Mediterranean University of Albania at the Saudi Arabian Culture Week in Tirana.

The Mediterranean University of Albania, the Abdulaziz Saud Albatain Chair for Arabic Language and Culture, especially the Arabic language and culture course, became part of the celebrations of the Saudi Cultural Week in Tirana.

Students of the Arabic language course, invited by the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Albania, celebrated the opening of this week of Arabic culture in the Albanian capital on September 16, 2025.

His Excellency Faisal bin Ghazi Hifzi, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the Republic of Albania, inaugurated the #Saudi_Culture_Week_in_Albania in Tirana, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The opening ceremony was attended, as well, by the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports of Albania, Mr. Blendi Gonxhe, along with a number of ambassadors, officials, academics and media representatives.

The students of the Arabic language course and the Director of the Chair of Arabic Language and Culture Prof.Assoc.Dr.Arben Cici visited the pavilions and stands representing a wide diversity of Saudi art, heritage, education, fashion and authentic cuisine.

They spoke with representatives of these fields about the importance of culture and language as a bridge between peoples and an embodiment of the historical relations and strong friendship between the Kingdom and Albania.

The active presence of the students of the Arabic language course and the Director of the Chair of Arabic Language and Culture Prof.Assoc.Dr. Arben Cici during this ceremony was appreciated by the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Tirana and the organizers of the event.
